Full-bleed frames that dissolve on scroll
Five ways a photograph can arrive and depart with grace. A working masterclass in the craft of the fade — each pattern named, each built from transform and opacity alone, each meant to last. Photographed at Lake Dornoch.
The image waits behind a curtain of near-black. As it enters the frame, a clip-path inset carries the panel off to one edge and the picture settles from a breath of scale — an unveiling, not a load.
Each room is held, not still — it drifts. A gentle scale-and-pan runs while the frames cross into one another, the way memory moves through a house.
An editorial grid fades and lifts tile by tile as it enters the viewport, staggered ninety milliseconds apart. Tap any tile and it dissolves open to fullscreen over a blurred backdrop. Press ESC, or tap the dark, to let it fade home.
